Remove the emitter from the box with a pair of tweezers.

To secure long lasting use of these emitters, you may need to adjust the source conditions, compared to settings used for similar products from other vendors.

MS entrance capillary temperature:
– 200−300°C for 10-30μm tip
– 100−200°C for 2−5μm tip

Distance emitter tip – MS Orifice:
– 2−6 mm

Electrospray ionization voltage:
– 0.5−2.5kV

The, generally, lower capillary temperature and larger distance minimize the risk of clogging the emitter tip.
