Auxiliary Light Source for Thermo Flex Ion sources is available for both QExactive/LTQ and Fusion style inlets. This simple device will allow you to actually see the nanospray plume you need to see in order to:
– confirm solvent flow
– confirm electrical connectivity
– determine optimal voltage setting
– determine optimal tip position
A spring activated mechanism keeps light in place when the source is moved or adjusted. Brilliant green LED illuminates entire inlet area. Power cord includes switch and resistor to protect the LED.
