Humanix develops, manufactures and sells bioanalysis equipment in Room 209, Frontier Lab, Kasumi General Research Building, Hiroshima University. Based on the results of research conducted by the founder (former CEO), the late Professor Emeritus Tsutomu Masushima of Hiroshima University (former Professor of Analytical Molecular Medicine and Device Studies, Department of Creative Medical Sciences, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Hiroshima University), the company’s immediate goal is to develop, manufacture and sell bioanalysis equipment such as mass analyzers, video microscopes and the world’s first video mass scope (a coined term) that combines these, and contribute to the acceleration of life science in Japan.

Even after the death of Professor Emeritus Masushima, the company continues to supply its main product, nanospray tips. On April 1, 2020, the company moved to Higashi-ku, Hiroshima City. The achievements of the company’s founder, the late Tsutomu Masushima, professor emeritus at Hiroshima University, are published in the journal of the Japanese Society for Mass Spectrometry.
